Realeyes alternative: where Realeyes ad testing went
Realeyes no longer sells ad testing under the Realeyes name. In November 2025 it moved its ad testing business, including the PreView product, into a separate company called Adverteyes. Realeyes itself now sells VerifEye, a human verification service for identity and liveness checks, so searches for Realeyes facial coding land on a different product. If you used Realeyes to pre-test ads, Adverteyes is the direct continuation. It focuses on creative scoring and predicting sales impact, and it is sold to large enterprise advertisers through its own sales team rather than per study. Other alternatives include Element Human, which combines attention, facial coding, memory and survey measures, and iMotions, which licenses facial expression analysis software. EchoDepth runs managed ad tests on real, consenting viewers, coding 44 Action Units per frame and publishing how its Emotional Response Curve is calculated.

What happened to Realeyes ad testing
A short history, using Realeyes’ and Adverteyes’ own announcements.
Realeyes was one of the best-known names in webcam facial coding for advertising. Ipsos chose it to provide facial coding in April 2014, measuring “six basic emotions” from consenting viewers moment by moment.
In November 2025 the ad testing business was spun out as an independent company, Adverteyes, with Max Kalehoff as CEO and Mihkel Jäätma as executive chair (MarTech Series). Realeyes.ai now describes itself as “The Human Verification Layer for the Internet”.
Adverteyes describes its offer as creative intelligence: it scores ads on “Sales Impact”, “Brand Awareness” and “Interactions”, offers API and agent integrations, and asks buyers to contact sales for pricing. It shows GDPR and SOC 2 logos and lists Mars, AXA, Dentsu, Google, Nielsen and others among its partners.
Looking for RealEye?
RealEye is a different company. RealEye (realeye.io) is a self-serve research platform built on webcam eye tracking, with basic facial coding of happiness, surprise and neutral expressions, and published monthly plans.

When EchoDepth is the better fit

- You need second-by-second detail that traces back to the Action Units behind it.
- You want the scoring published, so your analysts can check it.
- You are a brand or agency team that wants a managed study and a debrief rather than an enterprise platform.
